Brief Profile Expand

Changi Airport Group was formed in June 2009, taking over the Civil Aviation Administration of Singapore's (CAAS) role as operator of Singapore Changi Airport. The division was made so that the CAAS could concentrate on being the overseer of regulatory aspects of aviation in Singapore.

Changi Airport Group's main responsibilities include airport operation and management, air hub development, commercial activities and airport emergency services. In addition to Changi Airport, it is also responsible for the mangement of Singapore's secondary aviation hub, Seletar Airport.

The Changi Airport Group also makes a number of investments in foreign airports through its subsidiary, Changi Airports International.

Changi Airport Group's revenues in 2010 were S$1.5bn.
