Toll Holdings Ltd

Toll Holdings, Australia, founded in 1888, is a large integrated logistics provider and specialises in express freight transport by road, rail, air and sea across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia region. Its offering across a suite of brands includes end-to-end, local, regional and global supply chain solutions.  The group's assets include ports, warehousing, road fleets, ships, rail rolling stock and air freight capacity.

Toll claims to be the Asian region's leading provider of integrated logistics services, generating annual consolidated revenue of AU$6,5bn in 2009 and operating a network of over 800 sites with over 35,000 employes throughout more than 50 countries across the world.

Toll undertook significant re-structuring of the group in late 2006 in order to combine the newly acquired businesses of Sembcorp and Patrick.  Sembcorp was rebranded as Toll Asia following the integration of the AUS$1bn Asian supply chain company.  Patrick Logistics was integrated into Toll Australia.  Subsequently Toll acquired the Hong Kong-based worldwide forwarder BALtrans Holdings Limited and re-branded its forwarding business into Toll Global Forwarding (TGF). At the same time it demerged the Virgin Blue business. 

Included in its growth and development as a business, Toll has made over 80 acquisitions.
