C.H. Robinson is one of the world's largest third party logistics providers with a global offering of multimodal transportation and logistics solutions. It operates through a network of offices in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, and the Middle East.
As a non-asset based transportation provider, it works with carriers worldwide including contract motor carriers, railroads, air freight carriers, and ocean carriers. Its transportation services include a range of value added logistics services, such as supply chain analysis, freight consolidation, core carrier program management, and information reporting.
It also has two other logistics business lines: fresh produce sourcing and fee-based information services (via its subsidiary T-Chek Systems).
In 2009, it had gross revenues of $7.6bn.
