EUROGATE is a European container terminal and logistics group.
Along with its subsidiary, Contship Italia, the company operates sea terminals on the North Sea, in the Mediterranean region and on the Atlantic, with connections to the hinterland of Europe. It offers container handling, and container-related operations rounded off by intermodal transport and logistics management, solutions for IT logistics and specialised engineering services.
EUROGATE’s was founded in 1999 when EUROKAI joined with the BLG Logistics Group to form, a joint venture company, which merged the container business of the two firms. The company’s head office was established in Bremen, Germany.
In 2010 the company reported revenues of €599.5m.
