July - Stobart Group Limited acquired Innovate Logistics Limited's chilled and ambient goods operations which offer chilled, deep chilled, frozen and ambient transportation and storage in the U.K. Terms were not disclosed.

Innovate Logistics was formed in October 2003 incorporating Solar Cold Services, Park Conditioned Storage, Versatile Independent Packaging, Aston Distribution Centre and Round Oak Rail. The company provides a range of services in the temperature controlled supply chain.

In April 2006 Innovate Logistics Limited announced that a division of the company had purchased from the administrators of Celsius First (PricewaterhouseCoopers) the business of Celsius First that relates to the Portbury (Bristol) site. The current workforce was to be retained and Innovate was looking forward to developing a continuing relationship with the site's existing customers as well as extending the site's customer base.
