P&O Nedlloyd is a one of the world's largest shipping lines with revenues of $5.5bn, a fleet size of 154 vessels and a standing capacity of 416,732 teus.  The logistics division of the shipping line operates throughout the world. The division became a separate operating unit in 2002. Growth over the past year has mainly been organic, although it has entered into joint ventures in Turkey and China. In Turkey it established P&O Nedlloyd Anadolu and in China it entered into a partnership with a US company LogNet China. In the US the company owns domestic logistics operator, The Gilbert Companies.
