History

In 2004 both Armadillo and Armadillo Business Parcel formed Armadillo Group which became an affiliate company of GeoPost, regrouping the Express subsidiaries of La Poste Group. Armadillo Group has since operated in the framework of GeoPost Yurtiçi Kargo joint venture.

Since 2007, the company has traded under the single international DPD brand. DPD is the flagship brand of most of the companies within GeoPost international network which Armadillo became part of. DPD provides daily transport of 2 million parcels. In 500 depots across 39 DPD countries, over 22,000 employees are working to serve 200,000 commercial customers.
