Brief Profile
EMS Garantpost was founded at the end of 1990 following a decision from the Universal Postal Union (UPU) to establish a global Express Mail Service network, merging the national express mail services of UPU members.
The company was originally a venture between the Russian Post Office, La Poste, Aeroflot and Orbit Bank, however the Russian Post Office sold its share to La Poste in 2005. Garantpost is a sub-group of Chronopost, a consolidated company of La Poste.
It operates an extensive network of 83 depots in Russia.
