History
Con-way Inc. was incorporated in Delaware in 1958. In April 2006, shareholders approved management's proposal to change the Company's name from 'CNF Inc.' to 'Con-way Inc.' The corporate name change marked the launch of a strategy to bring the Company's operations under a single master brand.
In December 2006, Menlo Worldwide sold its interest share in joint venture company Vector SCM, to partner General Motors for $41m.
In December 2004, CNF (now Con-way) completed the sale of Menlo Worldwide Forwarding Inc. and its subsidiaries and Menlo Worldwide Expedite!, Inc. (previously wholly owned subsidiaries of Menlo Worldwide) to United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS).
