Brief Profile
As the national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air is an international airline serving over 40 destinations worldwide. It claims to be the airline with the largest network in the Middle East.
In November 2011, Gulf Air's cargo operations were rebranded under the name of Falcon Cargo. The company has no dedicated freighters, but offers cargo shipments using the bellyhold space of its passenger planes.
Falcon Cargo offers services that include Falcon Express, mail, courier, diplomatic and general cargo, animal transportation, dangerous goods, high value cargo as well as other shipments that require special handling.
Gulf Air is fully owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain through Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.
