Brief Profile
Autologic Plc is a UK-based provider of automotive logistics services to the European automotive industry. The company was formed in 1996 soon after the management buyout of Walon (UK) from its owners, the French Chargeurs Industrial Group. The Autologic brand and holding group was developed to enable it to develop a single identity throughout Europe and across a range of supply chain activities. In 1997 Autologic was floated on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). In 2006 it transfered to AIM listing.
The Holding company operates through several subsidiary companies such as automotive logistics industry brands Ansa and Walon.
Autologic has disposed of several companies as part of a financial restructuring aimed at recovering serious losses. The company no longer holds a share of Groupe CAT through the Global Automotive Logistics joint venture.
In 2008, the company reported revenues of £171.1m.
