GEFCO is a wholly owned subsidiary of PSA Peugeot-Citroen Group.   Through its five key areas of expertise - Logistics, Gefboxsystem, Overseas, Overland and Vehicle Distribution - GEFCO delivers global, solutions in both domestic, international and inbound and outbound logistics for a full range of industrial requirements. Present in some 100 countries, GEFCO ranks among Europe's top logistics groups, with 400 business locations worldwide and a workforce of 10,000.

It is developing its activities in three key regions: Europe, Asia and South America. 

Over 60% of its revenue is generated through sales to its parent company, which has manufacturing facilities spread across France, Spain and the United Kingdom. In addition to Peugeot-Citroen, the company serves a range of blue chip automotive clients, such as Fiat, Harley Davidson, Volkswagen as well as leasing companies such as Budget and Hertz.

GEFCO has three main business lines:

• vehicle distribution and preparation (Automotive)
• groupage and overland transport of freight (Network)
• sea and air freight logistics and transport (Supply).

In 2009 the company had revenues of €2.9bn.
