Hoyer GmbH

Hoyer Group is a German logistics service provider specialising in bulk, largely in the chemical sector, mineral oil, gas and foodstuff as well as providing transport and storage of fluids and bulk products in related areas of food and fuel logistics. It also offers services such as tank cleaning, workshops and filling and blending of products. It is privately owned by the Hoyer family.

Its chemical business segment is operated by Hoyer Chemilog which provides intermodal transport of chemical products, both hazardous and harmless, across Europe.

The company was originally a German road freight provider. However, it now has diversified into a series of businesses. The Tank Container business, Hoyer Global, is of great importance to the company.

In addition to its Hoyer Global tank container business, Hoyer has a significant road freight and related logistics business. From 2010, this has been grouped into one division of the business alongside the tank container business which together account for more than 50% of Hoyer Group’s revenue.

Through company-owned subsidiaries and agents the group has its presence in 87 countries worldwide.
