China Resources Enterprise is a subsidiary of China Resources National Corporation, which holds a 51.38% interest in the company.

China Resources Enterprise is active in the Chinese consumer/retail sector, with its four business segments being retail, beer, food processing & distribution and beverages.

The company's activities stretch right along the supply chain, starting with research and development, going on to production and processing, wholesaling, retail, logistics, distribution and international trading.

The subsidiary of the company that performs most if not all of its logistics operations is China Resources Logistics. Its activities include warehousing and distribution across China, freight forwarding including project cargo, supply chain management and contract logistics, small scale container terminal/wharf operations, and small scale local shipping operations using barges or small ships to the Port of Hong Kong for onward global transport.
