Brief Profile
FM Logistic was founded in 1967 by Claude and Edmond Faure and Jean-Marie Machet, respectively FM Holding Chairman and managing directors, and was originally known as Faure et Machet before being re-branded in the late 1990s. FM Logistic is a private family owned company.
The company has developed from a predominantly warehousing and transport company with the emphasis on transport, into a provider of sophisticated logistics solutions. Its main market is in France, although it has built an extensive network throughout eastern Europe, including Russia. Its strategy is to develop into a Lead Logistics Provider, managing out-sourced providers on behalf of a blue chip client base.
In 2009 the company had revenues of €639m.
