Global Shipping & Logistics (GSL) is part of the UAE-based Al Shirawi Group - Oasis Investment Company (OIC). Since GSL's inception in 1975, the company has become a leading logistics provider within the United Arab Emirates, offering temperature-controlled and ambient storage facilities and a range of freight management and local warehouse & distribution solutions.

The company started as a port services provider but has developed into a logistics company offering a full range of services. Following a period as the in-house provider of logistics services for the Al Shirawi Group, the company became 'corporatised' as a third party logistics provider and now works for a range of clients.
