2012

February - The Björk.Eklund Group is changed its name to Greencarrier AB with effect from 1 February 2012. Previously the Greencarrier name had only been used by companies that formed part of Greencarrier Freight Services, the division of the Björk.Eklund Group offering customised logistics and transport solutions worldwide.

The majority of Group companies not previously branded Greencarrier also changed their names to reflect their membership of the Greencarrier Group, including the Greenship/Loadmasters liner agency division that represented Evergreen Line in several markets within the Nordic/Baltic region. Only the Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics division maintained a separate identity.

CEO of the newly renamed Greencarrier sais: "By minimising the number of company names, our aim is to communicate even more clearly as well as to facilitate business for our customers, partners and future employees."
