Established in 1977, Future Forwarding is a UK based freight forwarder headquartered in Leeds.

The company started out as an air freight forwarder, employing just three people and then expanded its services into a full range of import and export services also for ocean and road freight.

Its six offices are located in Leeds, Manchester Airport, Sheffield and London Heathrow in the UK and Atlanta and Los Angeles in the USA.

In November 2009, the company restructured by creating Future Forwarding (Holdings) Limited, which includes Future Forwarding Company Limited (UK arm) and Future Forwarding Company (US arm) as subsidiaries. Prior to this Future Forwarding Company Limited was considered the parent company of the group with Future Forwarding Company as its subsidiary.

In 2010, its revenues were £29.8m.
