La Poste

La Poste Group is France's leading postal operator and Europe's second-largest mail and express parcel specialist. It delivers letters throughout France via a network of postal outlets, some of which are managed by partners.

In March 2010 La Poste, formerly a state-run enterprise, became a public limited company.

La Poste has four business sectors: Mail, Parcels and Express, La Banque Postale and La Poste Retail Outlets.

• Mail: includes all of La Poste's mail business (collection, sorting and distribution of letters, admail and press publications), as well as the subsidiaries and affiliates of the holding company, Sofipost.
• Parcels and Express: corresponds to all of the business conducted by La Poste under the ColiPoste and the GeoPost sub-group and the respective subsidiaries.
• La Banque Postale: the banking arm of the La Poste Groupe, representing the original concept in retail banking and provides adapted banking and insurance solutions to customers.
• La Poste Retail Outlets: encompasses the sale and distribution to the general public of La Poste group products and services as well as non-group products.
