Copex is now part of the Rhenus Group since July 2007. With a turnover of €3bn, the Rhenus group is one of the leading logistics service providers in Europe. Rhenus' Contract Logistics, Freight Logistics, Port Logistics and Public Transport divisions manage supply chains and provide value-added services.

Copex is a company with a rich history. It originated from a cooperation of flower bulb exporters founded in Hillegom, the Netherlands in 1921. In the beginning, the focus was mainly on transport by inland waterways and sea. Copex soon extended its services by offering air and road transport. This is how Copex became one of the first IATA agents in the Netherlands.

Due to the seasonal character of agricultural products, Copex started focusing on forwarding other goods over the years. Nowadays, Copex has expanded into a leading logistics service provider with a broad range of services.
