Brief Profile
GE Equipment Services was part of GE Industrial until the fourth quarter of 2007, when it has been transferred to the Commercial Finance segment.
It is one of the six business units of the American conglomerate General Electric. GE Equipment Services has operations in America and Canada and across Europe. In Europe GE Equipment Services has five operating companies:
- Tip Trailer Services
- Rail Services
- Plant Hire (UK)
- TLS Vehicle Rental (UK)
- Modular Space
GE Equipment Services has its European Headquarters in Amsterdam and provids trailers, satellite tracking, vans, railcars, construction equipment and modular buildings for rental and lease.
In 2010 GE restructured, the segment previously operated under Commercial Finance. The Commercial Finance segment of GE was renamed and restructured to become GE Capital.
