Inter Ferry Boats (IFB) is a full independent subsidiary of SNCB Logistics sa/nv and the commercial arm for all intermodal freight movements. Based in Antwerp, it provides multimodal solutions for intermodal transport by train, barge and truck all over Europe. The company also manages terminals in Belgium, Germany and France for freight handling.

Amongst its developments, is the National Rail Container Network (Narcon), a daily link via rail, terminal and truck between the quays in Antwerp and Zeebrugge and the hinterland. IFB has subsidiaries in Italy and France and has operational and commercial organisations in 11 European countries.

Rail Force is a division of IFB that provides logistics for the chemical, automotive and consumer goods industries. Another division, Xdedys provides logistics solutions for for dry bulk and steel products.
