Japan's Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) is one of the world's largest multi-modal transportation companies. Its core business is ocean shipping including dry bulk, tankers, LNG carriers, car carriers as well as container shipping. It also manages container terminals and has freight forwarding businesses to support its container shipping operations.
It also operates a ferry shipping business in Japan which transports passengers but also picks up latent demand for cargo shipping.
