Swiss Post is a postal operator with a network of post offices across Switzerland. Swiss Post has four autonomous business areas:
  • Communication market- letters, newspapers, promotional mailings, information solutions and data management in Switzerland, in neighbouring countries and internationally;
  • Logistics- in the Swiss and cross-border logistics markets including parcels, express services and logistics solutions;
  • Retail Finance- in the Swiss retail financial market including payments, investments, retirement planning and financing;
  • Public Passenger Transport- regional, local and urban transport, system management in Switzerland and in selected countries abroad.

It also has seven business units: Swiss Post International, Post Offices & Sales, Post Mail, Post Finance, Post Logistics, Post Bus, and Swiss Post Solutions.

In 2010, Swiss Post reported a revenue figure of CHF8,736m.
