The Bergé Marítima Group forms part of Corporación Bergé y Cía. S.A.

The Bergé Marítima Group plays a major role in Spain's port and shipping industry, it encompasses more than 50 companies and provides employment for 1,000 people. It has offices in Madrid and in London, from where it supervises administration and marketing for the entire company and maintains contact with all its customers. Madrid is the head office responsible for handling general management and co-ordination for the entire group.

As a shipping agent, Bergé Marítima represents the interests of a number of companies, both Spanish and foreign, and deals with some 8.000 vessels consigned per year at the 27 Mainland and Island ports where they are present.

The Bergé Marítima Group is the representative in Spain for the General Freight Handlers Committee and an active member of the Baltic Exchange.
